A SERIES - COAL BASE ANTHRACITE

Anthracite is the highest rank of coal. It has a carbon content of over 80% on a dry ash-free basis. Anthracite Filter Media are filtration materials for turbidity and suspended solid removal. Since the specific gravity is lighter than that of Filter Sand, it is much used in combination with Filter Sand in dual-media filtration, to consist reverse grain layers after backwashing. In addition, because of high content carbon of this product, it has high resistance to various chemicals and high physical strength so that it is widely used for city and industrial water purification

C Series - ACTIVATED CARBON
GRANULAR & POWDER TYPE

In water treatment applications all the four varieties of carbon (Coconut , Coal, Palm Shell & Wood) are used depending upon the nature of treating potable water and waste water.

In general:

• Coconut Shell activated carbon is suitable for dichlorination of Demin & Raw Water Filtration System
• Coal Base activated carbon is suitable for odor removal,  COD & BOD removal of WWTP
• Palm Shell Base activated carbon is suitable for COD & BOD removal of WWTP
• Wood Base activated carbon is most suitable for decolorization in powder form.

G SERIES – GARNET

Almandite garnet is a high hardness, high density granular filter media. It can be used extremely effectively as the lower strata in a dual media filter bed. Its high specific gravity as well as its chemical and abrasive resistance makes almandite garnet ideal for filtration.

An effective multi-media filter system will utilize larger sized media on top to filter out the larger particulates and smaller sized media to filter out the smaller particulates.

Garnet, with its high density, is heavier than most other filter media. Garnet’s higher density p rovides stability within your dual media bed, allowing the filter sized garnet to filter down to 10 – 20 micron particulates

I SERIES – ION EXCHANGE RESIN

We supply two brands of ion exchange resin :-

• Softening Resin from China Origin which is targeted for palm oil mill & general industrial
• Rohm & Haas (Amberlite Resin) for Softener & Demineralization system

M SERIES – IRON REMOVAL MEDIA

Iron and Manganese Removal Media is an economical media for the reduction of dissolved iron and manganese compounds from raw water supplies. The media acts as an insoluble catalyst to enhance the reaction between dissolved oxygen (D.O.) and the iron compounds. It enhances the oxidation reaction and produces ferric hydroxide, which precipitates and can be easily filtered. The filter media is easily cleaned by backwashing to remove the precipitant.

There are 4 types of Iron Removal Media : Iron Removal Media IRM-75, Manganese Greensand IRM-GS, Birm, DMI-65

S SERIES – RIVER GRADED SAND/GRAVEL

Sand Media are used to remove suspended solids and particles from water or wastewater. River Sands Gravel is used a supportive media. It is  hard, round, predominantly quartz aggregate. It has a slow breakdown rate ( thus ensuring a longer filtration life) as well as excellent backwashing characteristics, particularly when used in dual media filtration with filter coal.

Sand filtration is implemented include drinking water production, swimming pools, car washes, groundwater treatment, processing industry, food industry and etc.

Available Size : 0.3 – 0.8m, 0.6 – 1.2mm, 1.2 – 2.4mm, 2.4 – 4.8mm, 3 – 6mm, 6 – 12mm, 12 – 19mm, 20- 40mm

Z SERIES – ZEOLITE

Zeolites are microporous, aluminosilicate minerals commonly used as commercial adsorbents. Zeolites are widely used as ion-exchange beds in domestic and commercial water purification, softening, and other applications.  In chemistry, zeolites are used to separate molecules (only molecules of certain sizes and shapes can pass through), and as traps for molecules so they can be analysed. Zeolites have also been used as a filter medium in municipal water treatment plants.

AF Series – AFM Media

AFM® Activated Filter Media is a direct replacement for sand, doubling the performance of sand filters. AFM® is a highly engineered product manufactured from a specific glass type, processed to obtain the optimum particle size and shape.
